Every summer, we host three markets at three different locations in Lawrence and Methuen.

Join us for our weekly fresh produce sale at the Campagnone North Common. You can find us there every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, every Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Additionally, you can locate us at the Nevins Memorial Library in Methuen, and at the O'Connell South Common. We're also situated across from the center at 155 Haverhill St Lawrence MA, and across from Pronto Pizza at 65 S Union St Lawrence MA. We look forward to seeing you there!

Why farmers markets?

Because fruits and vegetables grown locally are best for you, your health, and your family's health, because it supports local businesses, keeps money in our community, and is the best for the environment. Come and support your local farmers, to get fresh products, and connect with your neighbors.

How?

All the farmers accept SNAP/EBT/food stamps as well as debit, credit, and cash; GWL market coupons, WIC, and senior farmers market coupons are also welcome. Due to the Health Incentives Program (HIP), SNAP households are able to earn a dollar-for-dollar match on eligible purchases of fresh fruit and vegetables at farmers markets, farm stands, CSA, and mobile markets. The HIP benefit is immediately added to SNAP households’ EBT cards after each purchase. Please come and enjoy the view, flavors, and the offerings of the markets with us! For any questions or for more information, email here or call (978) 974-0770.

About SNAP/Food Stamp Benefits at the Lawrence Farmers Market

Local farmers and other vendors offer fresh and local products at affordable prices, as well as baked goods, meat, honey, fish, and eggs. Since Groundwork Lawrence took over the administration of the farmers market in 2006, we have sought to ensure access to the market for all buyers through the acceptance of EBT (food stamps), HIP, credit and debit cards, and GWL farmers market coupons, as well as increase the redemption of the WIC and senior farmers market coupons.
