Cronin Park Improvements

The City of Lawrence has awarded the contract to renovate and improve Cronin Park (across from the Tarbox School) to Quirk Construction. Quirk has done other park work in the City including the construction of Kennedy Community Park. Construction will be ongoing through these winter months and the park will be open in the early summer. Funding for the park renovations are from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs - P.A.R.C. Grant. We're very excited to be a part of this important renovation to the Arlington Neighborhood!

Costello Park Improvements

The City of Lawrence was awarded grant funding from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs - P.A.R.C. Grant for renovations at Costello Park. The renovations will include repair of the existing playground equipment and installation of some new equipment as well as refurbished safety surfacing. The park improvements will also include a handball wall at the existing tennis courts. Work on the playground and tennis courts will begin by March 2010 and conclude in June - just in time for some summer fun! Please take a look at this professional rendering of the new playground equipment.

Thank you to everyone who came and danced, bid and donated at Glow!
