Groundwork Lawrence works with private companies and community organizations of all sizes to offer sponsorship opportunities and engage their staff in volunteer projects. These programs introduce employees to community service in the Lawrence area and provide critical support to our initiatives. We have many different volunteer and sponsorship opportunities for our corporate and community partners. Benefits of participation include:

Community-Wide Events

Earth Day, Comcast Cares Day: Lawrence clean-up and beautification day which engages 1,000 volunteers.

Spicket River Clean-Up: September 21st, 2024.
Trash removal event engaging volunteers across the city.

Personalized Events

Volunteer Clean Up Day

Offer Your Expertise

  • Lawrence clean-up and beautification day which engages 1,000 volunteers

SALSA Festival

June 01, 2024

  • Kite-making, healthy living activities, and entertainment at Lawrence park targeting 750 people
  • Sponsorship levels from $500-$5,000

Benefits: Your name and logo on all flyers, as well as inclusion on our outreach leading up to the event. Signage at the event and logo on our website, size dependent on sponsorship level.

Lawrence Farmers Markets

November 2023 - May 2024

  • Eight markets throughout the winter running every other Saturday, targeting 20-4,000 people
  • Sponsorship levels from $500-$20,000

June - October 2024

  • Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday markets (for approximately 17 weeks) targeting 20-25,000 people
  • Sponsorship levels from $500-$20,000

Benefits: Your name and logo on all flyers, as well as inclusion on our weekly market outreach including print , radio and Local Access Television. Signage at the markets and logo on our website size dependent on sponsorship level.

  • Annual fundraiser located in Lawrence which gathers approximately 375 people to celebrate the work of GWL each year
