The Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs recently awarded Groundwork Lawrence and the City of Lawrence a $2.6M Gateway City grant for construction of the Spicket River Greenway. The greenway, which will be a 2.5-mile series of paths along the river, will connect six parks in Lawrence, starting from Manchester Park and ending at the Merrimack River.
