Join GWL, Market Vendors, & the YMCA afterschool program at the Fall 2010 Harvest Festival

When: Wednesday, Oct 13th from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Where: Lawrence Farmers’ Market on Appleton Way (between the Court House and City Hall)

What: An event to celebrate the bounty of the harvest. Come get the last of the fresh, local produce for the season, as well as beautiful crafts, including winter hats, scarves, and gloves! It’s a half day for Lawrence Public Schools so bring the kids for face painting and pumpkin decorating. Pumpkins to decorate will be sold for $3 each. Free ice cream will be served courtesy of Bread and Roses. The Robert Frost Foundation will be there with the pushcart to provide music and live poetry readings, with special guest readings from YMCA youth. Feel free to bring a poem to share.

If you can’t make it on the 13th, remember that both our Farmers’ Market locations are open through the end of Oct:

  • Wed from 9am-4pm at Appleton Way
  • Sat from 9am-1pm on the corner of Lawrence St. and Park St.
