Groundwork Lawrence Green Team will be hosting a storytelling event, The Story of Us: Our City, Our Story, Our World on May 14, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Groundwork Lawrence, 50 Island Street, Entry B, Lawrence. Green Team members have been exploring their personal stories and learning how theirs is a critical tile of the larger mosaic that makes up their neighborhood, the city of Lawrence, and ultimately the world. The event will be a multimedia presentation open and free to the public, and is a creative expression of a yearlong self-exploration process around social and environmental justice.
